Only two teams compete in this game. You need at least two players, but the total number of people who can play is unlimited. Get your friends together and divvy up! The object of the game is to bank the most cue cards.

To give your team the best advantage, choose cue cards from the SNL eras you know best (1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s) or go ahead and play them all! To start, each player selects three cue cards (no peeking!) and places them facedown on the Play Pile.

Flip card

On your turn, draw a cue card from the top of the Play Pile and read it aloud. You and your team will have 60 seconds to complete one of six category challenges, including:

Bank It

Bet It

Attempt to win another card and either Bank it or Bet It again. If your team blows it, you'll lose all the cards bet in the round.

Cut It

If your team experiences utter failure in the category challenge, they Cut It to the discard pile.

After the last card in the Play Pile has been played, the team with the fewest banked cards will get a chance to make a run to beat their opponent by playing through the era decks sequentially, starting with the 1970s, followed by the 1980s, and so on. If the trailing team passes the leading team by one cue card, Sudden Death begins. If not, the leading team wins!
